Job Description

As an Execution Analyst, you will work alongside trading and engineering as the subject matter expert in the vendor platforms and trading workflows for Man Group's order flow across asset classes.

As the SME you would be responsible for signing off all releases from our vendors with respect to our workflows and collaborating with our vendors to investigate any issues identified. This includes coordinating the roll out of any releases to the trading desk in a controlled manner.

For new initiatives involving our order flow you would be the SME representative to identify any implications of our trading workflows. You would be expected to coordinate with traders and the relevant engineers to define any required changes to systems and workflow including testing and providing final sign off.

You will be responsible for managing the relationship between our internal and our vendor support teams to ensure any issues experienced by the trading desk are correctly understood and that resolutions are timely and appropriate for our workflows.

The Team

Central Trading, and Execution Technology specifically, is an area that has experienced significant investment over the past few years with an increased focus on the interaction between investment decision and execution quality to deliver the best value to our clients. We have trading floors in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Boston, with an engineering and research presence in London, Boston and Sofia, and are responsible for trading in excess of 7 trillion dollars annually.

Skills and Experience

Required: Interest in execution process of an order Ability to understand and efficiently investigate time critical issues Experience managing documentation for aplex system or process Ability to internalise and reason aboutplex systems or processes Experience of working closely with third parties Desirable: Knowledge of FIX protocol Experience of working in a Front Office environment Knowledge of electronic execution Experience of coordination across multiple teams Experience of using technology ( python) to automate repetitive tasks Experience with any of TradingScreen, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess Experience writing simple queries using SQL Experience navigating around Linux servers and searching through log files using BashPersonal AttributesSelf-organised with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and withpeting business demands and priorities Focused on delivering value to the business with relentless efforts to improve process Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with engineers, traders and third party representatives Confidentmunicator; able to articulate requirements and describeplex systems and/or processes to a variety of audiences.Work-Life Balance and Benefits at Man
