Alcedo Care are currently recruiting for Evening Care Assistants in the Ormskirk and surrounding areas.

Join our team of Evening Care Assistants in the Ormskirk and surrounding area to help provide care and assist people in their own homes. No previous experience is required as our in-house training team will ensure you are trained to the high standards of care we expect.

You must also hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

This role will include:

  • Providing personal care (including bathing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Administering and documenting medication
  • Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in conditions to our branch teams


Whether you have experience in a care setting or nursing home; if you have been a care assistant in the community; a private carer for a family member; or no care experience at all, we offer full training and support to become a qualified and confident care assistant.

You must be 18 to apply for this role and it is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also be required to provide satisfactory professional and/or character references.
