As a part of our Vaisala Xweather sales organization, you will be responsible for development of business-to-business growth opportunities with new and existing clients. Your work will expand our footprint primarily in UK, but with Global potential, while leading engagements with a wide variety of companies, all focused on the influences of weather & other environmental conditions on infrastructure maintenance and operational management. You would also work internally across a variety of areas including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Leadership to provide market feedback and craft customer-specific solutions that define our unique value proposition in the marketplace.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? 

Proven track record in business and sales  Being an assertive salesperson, ready to find new leads and customers as well as manage relationships Ever learning and hungry for knowledge  Background in tech or weather sales, enabling effective communication with key stakeholders from business leaders to software engineers and data scientists. Previous experience in the weather or infrastructure (roads) maintenance industry is considered an asset  Background in Meteorology, Civil Engineering or Infrastructure Asset Management is considered an asset, but not mandatory. Strong software sales experience  Some travel, required for conferences and meetings
