Principal Data Scientist

TheEnterprise AI & Advanced Analytics Directorwill lead a team of data scientists and advanced analytics professionals. By leveraging cutting-edge AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and machine learning capabilities the team will deliver impactful insights and business outcomes across R&D /Labs, Finance, and Commercial functions. This role will establish a centralized hub of AI expertise, driving value creation across corporate functions and positioning the organization at the forefront of AI-driven innovation.

The Enterprise AI & Advanced Analytics Director will play a critical role in defining and implementing AI strategies that enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and accelerate innovation. By partnering closely with senior stakeholders, this role will translate complex business challenges into actionable AI initiatives, ensuring Mars maximizes the power of data to fuel the growth ambitions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the AI Strategy:Collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions to identify and execute AI initiatives that enhance products, services, and operational efficiency for the functions and our segment customers.
  • Develop & Deploy AI Solutions:Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI and advanced analytics solutions, including Gen AI, to address key business challenges across R&D, Finance, and Commercial functions.
  • Lead a team of AI specialists:Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists and analytics professionals, driving innovation in AI model development and deployment to solve complex business problems.
  • Drive AI Innovation:Promote the integration of AI technologies, including Gen AI, to create new business opportunities, improve efficiency, and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Establish AI Governance:Build an AI Hub of expertise to standardize governance, best practices, and the responsible use of AI, ensuring consistent impact across all enterprise functions.
