Responsibilities

Inthis role youll:

  • Reportdirectly to the CTO providing both technical leadership andmanagement for the engineeringteam.
  • Fosteran environment of continuous growth by providing feedback coachingand mentorship to help each team member reach theirpotential.
  • Playa critical role in design and implementation decisions tacklingcomplex challenges that drive platformscalability.
  • Overseebackend development (Node.js) with GraphQL APIs and frontenddevelopment (React) integrated with AWS cloud infrastructure andCI/CDpipelines.
  • Ensurehighquality software development adhering to architectureprinciples coding standards QA and projectspecifications.
  • Managesprint planning to ensure timely delivery of projects andmilestones.
  • Identifyand address technical debt and inefficiencies proposing andimplementingimprovements.
  • Leadthe adoption of automated testing continuous integration anddeployment processes to enhance development efficiency andquality.
  • Driveteam expansion through recruitment career development and buildingprofessional developmentpathways.
  • Shapeonboarding and mentorship programs to set engineers up for successenabling s development and career growthopportunities.

RequiredQualifications
  • Provenexperience leading and managing development teams in SaaS or AIpreferably in successful earlystage startupenvironments.
  • Indepthknowledge of the software development lifecycle including designdevelopment deployment andscaling.
  • Knowledgeof machine learning deep learning or computer vision technologiesand how they integrate into realworldapplications.
  • Strongbackground in designing and implementing Node.js applications andGraphQLAPIs.
  • Experiencewith frontend frameworks such asReact.
  • Solidunderstanding of Linux and embedded systems (e.g.Yocto).
  • Familiaritywith cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and the ability to architectscalable cloudapplications.
  • Expertisein CI/CD pipelines and automated testingframeworks.
  • Apion for team development career progression and fostering aninclusive and positive engineeringculture.
  • Strongacademic background ideally in Computer Science Engineering orrelatedfield.
