Senior Simulation Engineer (Data Science)

Embedded Software Engineer – London - £65K – Hybrid (3 days in office a week)

Hexwired has partnered with an exciting electronics manufacturer in the London area, looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with a welcoming environment and strong benefits. The company seeks an individual with experience in embedded C, C++, and multi-process development on RTOS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee software development stages from concept to completion

  • Develop, document, and share software solutions using best practices

  • Analyse and interpret product requirements and specifications

  • Suggest and drive improvements in both technology and processes

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously to develop tailored solutions

  • Create technical documentation and testing strategies

  • Handle software version control and configuration management

    Requirements

  • Proficient in embedded C and C++

  • Experience in multi-threaded and real-time systems development

  • Familiarity with Linux or Windows APIs in embedded systems

  • Strong skills in debugging within integrated development environments (IDEs)

  • Knowledge of UML, Agile methodologies, and SOLID design principles

    Desirable

  • Understanding of PID control and the ability to read electronic schematics

  • Experience in managing risks and designing multi-processor systems
