Embedded Software Engineer – £50k - £65k – Gloucester – Semi remote

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a expanding Electronics Manufacturers based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. They are now seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help develop a brand new range of products! You will be working as part of a small, dedicated team to develop this new range of products from scratch.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer ideally with solid experience writing Firmware for Low power, low memory devices.

Due to the nature of the job, the company will require mostly onsite work with some flexibility.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics or similar

  • 4+ commercial Embedded software experience

  • Good commercial experience design microcontrollers

  • Serial comms experience (SPI, I2C etc)

  • Exposure to application software is highly desirable but not essential
