Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us where you’ll play a pivotal role in improving how Royal London works.

 

You’ll be collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, identifying high impact opportunities to streamline and optimise end to end processes, eliminate inefficiencies and drive innovation. You’ll directly contribute to improving the way we do things, to make it easier for our colleagues to deliver a great service to our customers.

 

You will work closely with the E2E Transformation Lead to understand the current state across business areas, identify opportunities to drive efficiency and agree delivery plans.

About the role

 

  • Define heatmaps of opportunities for efficiencies, based on the current state and cost model, aligned to the desired target state of Royal London and the specific business areas
  • Understand the drivers of the current state and why things are currently done the way they are
  • Identify both tactical and strategic options to drive efficiencies and articulate relative advantages / disadvantages within the wider strategy and ambition
  • Work with stakeholders across Royal London, including risk, operations, proposition, and finance, to apply different lenses and considerations to potential options
  • Collaborate with business process owners to prioritise opportunities, blending elimination, simplification and optimisation approaches to business improvement.Identify, measure, assign appropriate ownership, manage, and monitor all risks and controls in line with the risk and control methodology. Escalate any issues deemed significant, in accordance with the Risk Management System (RMS)

 

About you

 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A curious mind and a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Extensive end to end Business Process analysis and improvement experience at both a strategic and detailed level
  • Extensive experience of working at the strategic level of process improvement, considering the full end to end of a process across organisational boundaries.
  • Experience of estimating cost and complexity of end to end process change.
  • Extensive experience defining and applying frameworks, reference models, current / target state blueprints, roadmaps to define and articulate opportunities and options to various stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience of technology driven process improvement technologies, including automation, robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
  • Understand all relevant regulation, and seek counsel from specialists to validate understanding, to ensure all proposals and options are regulatory compliant.
  • The ability to estimate the financial impact of process changes.
