Remote Online Product Support - No Experience

This is a fully remote role within the UK; however, occasional travel to the Sheffield office will be required.

What would you do as our Docking Business Development Manager

As the Docking Business Development Manager, you will be responsible forhelping to drivethe growth of the docking equipment business across the UK, aligning it with the UK Sales Strategy. You will ensure the successful execution of this strategy in line with the targets outlined in the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Business Plan, while safeguarding the companys best interests and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

You would also:

  • Drive sales growth in the distribution and logistics sector by collaborating with the HPD and Docking Sales Manager and achieving set KPIs.
  • Review enquiries, ensure competitive quotations are recorded in the CRM system, and follow up to secure orders in line with targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, developers, key architects and industry stakeholders to maximize market opportunities.
  • Conduct site surveys, ensure accurate data transfer to operations, and contribute to the development of strategic sales plans.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to enhance proposals and brand awareness.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong knowledge of docking system design, the docking market, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings.
  • Has excellent numerical skills for cost calculations, pricing assessments, and data analysis.
  • Has proven experience in a sales-driven, customer-focused environment with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Is a self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project coordination, with the ability to create presentations and analyse specifications.
