The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Director of AI and Data Science with significant experience operating at C-level within large enterprises. This role is crucial in driving innovation and delivering transformative AI solutions to our diverse enterprise clients.

As the Director of AI and Data Science, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge AI and data science strategies for our clients across various sectors, particularly in Financial Services and Energy.
  • Collaborate closely with our Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Technology Officer to drive growth in our AI business and shape the future of our data science capabilities.
  • Oversee and nurture a team of top-tier data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, translating complex AI concepts into tangible business value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI and data science solutions that drive measurable business performance improvements for our clients.
  • Identify emerging AI technologies and methodologies, assessing their potential impact on our clients' industries.
  • Lead high-profile client engagements, ensuring the delivery of transformative AI solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Contribute thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and industry events, positioning Mesh-AI as a leader in the AI space.
  • Drive the growth of our AI practice by identifying new business opportunities and crafting compelling proposals.
  • Mentor and develop the data science team, fostering a high-performance culture and attracting top talent.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading AI and data science initiatives within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Deep expertise in AI, ML, and data science, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex business problems across various industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts into measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing data science teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  • Track record of successful client engagements and delivery of enterprise-scale AI projects.
  • Familiarity with the latest AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience in financial services and/or energy sectors is highly desirable.
