The Opportunity: As a Digital Strategy individual contributor in the broader digital team, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our Digital Execution and Digital Capability, dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement. As a Digital Strategy Lead, you will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field. This role offers a remote working solution so you can optimise the most productive work environment for you to succeed and deliver. Key Activities for this role:

Drive the development of a comprehensive digital strategy and related guidance to achieve Astellas’ digital ambitions. Design and initiate activation plan translating digital strategy into execution and value realization. Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage new technologies and methodologies. Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices into digital operations to keep the organization competitive and adaptive. Ensure continuous reflection and realignment of the digital portfolio with strategic objectives. Consistently leads by example in collaborating and seeking the best contributions from other stakeholders, team members, and Subject Matter Experts.

Essential Knowledge & Experience: Demonstrated relevant experience (For example: Defining a digital strategy to support one or more areas of a health sciences value chain). Experience collaborating with strategy groups in other departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes. Education/Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing) or equivalent. Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position based in the UK. This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
