Job Overview
Refonte AI is seeking passionate and driven interns for ourDevSecOps & Cybersecurity Internshipprogram. This opportunity is part of ourRefonte Global Training & Internship Program (RIGTIP)and offers an immersive learning experience in cybersecurity and secure software development practices. You’ll work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience in DevSecOps tools, and collaborate with an international team of experts in cybersecurity and DevSecOps across various regions.
This role is ideal for candidates eager to build their skills incyber defense,risk management, andDevSecOps practices, and to learn from cybersecurity leaders in a flexible, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a DevSecOps & Cybersecurity Intern, your duties will include:
- CI/CD Security: Design, develop, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines usingDevSecOpspractices forStatic Application Security Testing (SAST),Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), andInteractive Application Security Testing (IAST).
- Application Security: ImplementOWASPstandards to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within applications.
- System Security and Assessment: Build secure systems, performvulnerability assessments, and gain experience in infrastructure protection and web presence security.
- Threat Modeling & Risk Analysis: Conductthreat modelingandrisk assessmentfor web applications, analyzing potential security risks and preparing countermeasures.
- Vulnerability Management: Create, document, and implement strategies forvulnerability managementwithin various environments.
- Ethical Hacking Techniques: Perform ethical hacking tasks, includingfootprinting,reconnaissance, and vulnerability exploitation using modern techniques and tools.
- Advanced Network Scanning: Utilize tools likeNMAPandNPINGto scan network systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and assess risks beyond firewalls and IDS.
- Web Application Security: Develop an understanding ofweb applicationvulnerabilities and effective protection methods.

- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a degree inCybersecurity,Computer Science, or a related field, demonstrating a strong commitment to learning and professional development.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge ofDevSecOps,network security, and familiarity with security testing tools.
