Our client is seeking 2x Data Scientists with expert level R programming to join them on a project.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 150 days
Pay Rate: Competitive
IR35 Status: Outside
Location: UK Remote or UK Time Zone Working
Expert-level R programming and R package development.
Proficiency with GitHub and unit testing frameworks.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Background in biostatistics or clinical programming.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and document R packages, including metadata and user-focused use cases.
Develop unit tests aligned with best practices in R package development.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a newly created team environment.
Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free / with minimal non-functional defects.
Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environments.
Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
Capability to organise and prioritise tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members.
Strong organisation and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
