Role Summary and Impact The Strategy Simulations team withinChoreograph’sInsight and Planning pillarbuilds models of consumerbehaviourto support strategic decision-making within WPP Media agencies. Drawing on complex systems techniques such as agent-based modelling, we bring together data from different sources to provide insight into the market dynamics and consumerbehaviourat scale, buildingproductsthat allow users to explore possible futures for brands and inform their strategic recommendations.

Position Overview
Choreograph is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Strategy Simulations team. Embedded in our full-stack team of data scientists, engineers and product owners, you will help develop and improve the product offerings of the team.We have a strong focus on creating data-driven simulations to build insight (understanding why) and foresight (understanding what if) into humanbehaviour. You will be part of a larger team of data scientists with experience and expertise in a wide range of methodologies and toolkits, which we apply to a variety of problems at the cutting edge of commercial market analytics and research. You will collaborate with your team members todevelop, enhance and build existing and new simulations, byanalysingdataand building models that are part of our product suite, supporting planners and strategists to make better decisions. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Conceptualizing, developing and implementing computational simulations to predict and understand humanbehaviour
Performing exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, data preparation, and product prototyping based on modern statistical and ML/AI methods
Actively exploring and identifying the latest techniques inbehaviouralanalysis and simulation
Analyzing, interpreting and/or optimizing the results of model-based experiments
Using systems and internal processes efficiently and integrating these in daily work
Presenting insights and findings to stakeholders
RequiredExperience/Skills Master'sor PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or a related field
Experienceanalysingpanel-based data
Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical knowledge, as well as an interest in applying them to complex problems
Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
A passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data
A flexible analytic approach that allows for results at varying levels of precision
Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
Programming proficiency in Python - especiallynumpy, pandas, scikit-learn
Strong presentation skills. You know how to tell a good story.
Experience with git
Experience with cloud computing
