Experience Level:Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Science

Are you fascinated by uncovering patterns in data? Do you hold data quality to the highest standard and chase ever-higher model performance with tenacity and precision? If so, we want you on our team.

While a background in NLP and LLMs is highly valued, we are also eager to connect with Data Scientists from diverse fields who are passionate about tackling new challenges and have a mindset focused on developing the best possible models.

We're looking for a Data Scientist with a passion for curiosity-driven exploration and a dedication to excellence in developing and refining models. This role focuses on solving novel problems in a fast-paced environment, specifically emphasising Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). As part of the role, you'll contribute to creating and curating high-quality training and test datasets for LLMs alongside broader data science responsibilities. We specialise in conversational AI and are a production-focused company, ensuring our models deliver real-world value to clients and their customers. Staying current is key—we actively read and write papers and engage with the latest research to keep ahead of the curve.

What You'll Do:

  1. Collaborate on designing, developing, and deploying advanced data science models, focusing on NLP and LLM-based systems.
  2. Contribute to creating, curating, and maintaining high-quality training and test data to support LLM development.
  3. Ensure data integrity and prepare datasets that meet rigorous standards for analysis and modelling.
  4. Relentlessly pursue improvements in model performance, identifying actionable areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions.
  5. Propose and implement enhancements to models and data workflows, driving continuous optimisation.
  6. Stay current with state-of-the-art research by reading and writing papers, and applying cutting-edge techniques to real-world challenges.
  7. Solve unique and challenging problems using innovative tools and approaches.
  8. Share and discuss ideas in a supportive environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged and valued.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. At least 1 year in a Data Science role, with practical experience applying machine learning techniques.
  2. Proficiency in Python, with experience using libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
  3. A relentless drive to push model performance boundaries, a focus on client needs, and a dedication to delivering impactful results.
  4. Familiarity with NLP concepts, transformer models, or LLMs (but not required—curiosity and a willingness to learn are more important).
