Data Scientist | Health role at Quantium. Quantium Health UK delivers AI, analytics, and digital consulting services and products to clients across Health, Life Sciences and HealthTech. Our purpose is to harness the power of data and drive improved outcomes for patients and clinicians. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Scientist and contribute to the delivery of analytics and AI-driven solutions, support client engagements, and learn from experienced team members whilst applying cutting-edge data science techniques and technology to solve real-world healthcare challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Analytics delivery: Support and contribute to project teams in designing and delivering high-quality analytics for healthcare initiatives that drive meaningful client outcomes
  • Technical execution: Execute analytics processes from data quality assessment to method selection, design & application, insights generation and visualisation
  • Client solutions: Develop real-world solutions by understanding clients\' healthcare objectives and translating their needs into analytical approaches
  • Team contribution: Collaborate with and learn from team members while sharing your expertise in a growth-oriented environment
The Superpowers You\'ll Be Bringing To The Team
  • Academic background: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or a related discipline
  • Technical experience: 2-5 years of commercial experience in data analytics or data science, demonstrating practical application of analytical techniques
  • Analytics knowledge: Solid understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, analytics concepts, model development and validation
  • Coding experience: Proficient in Python / SQL with experience in similar analytical programming languages
  • Healthcare experience: Experience working with healthcare or life sciences data and applying analytics to improve patient, clinician or customer outcomes
  • Stakeholder engagement: Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
