As a Data Scientist, you'll be instrumental in developing sophisticated algorithmic solutions that drive business value across our international markets while working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. You'll collaborate with experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps, and Agile Delivery to create data-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences and optimize business operations throughout the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

We are happy to consider this opportunity on a hybrid working model basis in line with local office attendance requirements. International travel should be expected so flexibility is required in this regard.

The role will be published until 6th April 2026.

ABOUT THE JOB

Create and deliver sophisticated algorithmic solutions to complex business problems across multiple teams and markets. Develop, train, deploy, and monitor models using tools like Docker, Airflow, MLflow, and SageMaker. Work with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses (including Snowflake), and various data structures to source required information. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, breaking down complexity through clear explanations and data visualizations. Research and evaluate new developments in data science, including statistical models, machine learning, LLMs, and optimization algorithms. Contribute to the data science community at TUI, sharing knowledge and driving technical excellence.

ABOUT YOU

You have a degree or equivalent experience in computer science, mathematics, or a subject involving similar analytical skills. You have hands-on experience with model development, training, deployment, and monitoring using tools like Docker, Airflow, MLflow, or SageMaker. You're proficient with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools, with the ability to produce production-quality code. You understand Data Lakes, Data Structures and Warehouses including Snowflake, and are familiar with DevOps practices and AWS cloud solutions. You have excellent communication skills, breaking down complex solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're open-minded, inquisitive, and a life-long learner who's comfortable with ambiguity and works autonomously.
