We’re working with a pioneering nature tech start-up that’s using acoustic sensor technology and cloud data to support sustainability in agriculture, food production, and land management. Their innovation helps monitor pollination and biodiversity in real time, with the goal of improving environmental outcomes and reducing harm to nature.

They’re now looking for a Data Scientist who can turn rich environmental data into meaningful insights. This is an on-site role (London or York office), ideal for someone who enjoys working at pace, loves problem-solving, and wants to make a visible impact in a mission-driven setting.


What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the development of insightful dashboards that interpret complex sensor data, using Python, Google Cloud Platform, and data visualisation tools like Looker Studio or Power BI. You’ll work closely with commercial, product, and field teams to uncover trends, evidence impact, and communicate findings clearly across the business.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a small, agile team where everyone pitches in. Your work will shape internal decision-making, support marketing efforts, and bring real-world commercial and environmental value to clients.


What experience you’ll need to apply

  • 5+ years' experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence
  • Strong Python skills and experience analysing large datasets
  • Confidence working with cloud-based platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
  • Experience building dashboards using Looker Studio or Power BI
  • Ability to communicate data stories clearly to non-technical teams
  • Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Bonus for web development experience or background in agriculture, environment


What you’ll get in return

A salary up to £75,000 (DOE) withing a tight-knit and colleabative environment in a flat structure.
