Hybrid/Remote (UK Right to work) with Travel to London

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to work on a new initiative focused on building and deploying a modeling solution to predict and optimize advertising campaign performance as part of a customer-facing SaaS product. Experience in the Media/Advertising sector or similar is preferred.

Experience – Must-have skills:

  • Several years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in data science and statistical principles such as applied statistics, model selection, cross-validation, objective functions, hyperparameter tuning, and optimization problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate data science concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including object-oriented programming and performance optimization
  • Experience developing and deploying production machine learning applications on cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS and Azure acceptable)
  • Familiarity with Python ML packages such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy, pandas
  • Strong SQL skills for data preparation and feature engineering
  • Knowledge of MLOps principles, including automated retraining, monitoring, and deployment strategies
  • Basic understanding of containerization and tools like Docker

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with Google Cloud ML tools like Vertex AI Pipelines and BigQuery
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool)
  • Previous work with advertising data
  • Experience with FastAPI or similar Python API frameworks
  • Proficiency with dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI
  • Experience working on SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of Kubeflow Pipelines
  • Experience developing on Mac/Unix environments
  • Understanding of CICD pipeline design and implementation
  • Experience with GenAI, LLMs, or neural networks
  • A/B testing or statistical hypothesis testing experience
