Data Scientist

As a DRE Data Scientist, the post holder will assist the DRE team in analyzing and developing analytical tools using GOSH electronic patient record (EPR) data and other sources. The role involves working with partner project teams (clinical and non-clinical) to explore hospital processes through data-driven methods, and providing data, analytics, and statistical support for research projects during DRE Open Support sessions.

The post-holder will develop and utilize common data models such as OHDSI OMOP to support clinical research and operational analytics across multiple sites in the UK and abroad, leveraging research and federated analytics platforms. They will also work on improving analytical pipelines (RAP), reporting workflows, and enhance their skills within the hospital and research community.
