Role:

The business demands for data science and AI products have Increased leading to a natural expansion of the teams. The data scientists role will work In a multi-disciplinary setup to develop, test, deploy and Implement data products in production.


Responsibilities:

  • Apply expertise in mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning and AI (Including GenAI) to deliver business value by solve complex business problems.
  • Develop, test, deploy, monitor and maintain data products In production using Industry best practice MLOps capabilities.
  • Adhere to all data science governance, regulatory and legal requirements and best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from across different disciplines Including but not limited data engineering, data modellers, architects, risk and compliance and business functions.
  • Communicate outputs and findings to a range of stakeholders with a clear focus on the business value.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • A Data Science and AI expert with a proven track record in leveraging data science and AI methods to solve business problems and deliver tangible business value.
  • Educated to MSc, PhD or equivalent apprenticeship level in physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, AI or computer science.
  • Proven expertise In using relevant coding languages (Python, SQL etc.), tools (e.g. GIT, CI/CD pipelines, MLFlow etc.) and platforms (Databricks etc.) to deliver data products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to convey "why do we care" messages clearly to broad range of stakeholders having different technical capabilities.
  • Motivated by delivering results in a fast-paced digital and transformational organisation.
  • Collaborative, team player with a tenacious, resilient mentality and can do attitude.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications sector is a bonus
