twentyAI is partnering with a globally renowned law firm currently undergoing a major digital and data transformation. With a deep-rooted legacy in legal excellence and a strong global footprint, the firm is modernising its data capability to transform how they deliver services, pitch to clients, price work, and improve operational performance.

This is a high-impact role for a curious, hands-on Data Scientist who wants to apply their skills in a fast-evolving environment where data science meets real-world legal practice. You’ll join a collaborative team where engineers, lawyers, and data professionals work side by side to solve practical problems using smart, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to support various business use cases.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers to build and maintain ML pipelines in an Azure-based architecture (DevOps, Notebooks, Git).
  • Contribute to the continuous evaluation of model performance and ensure adherence to compliance, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team discussions and knowledge exchange to foster a culture of learning and collective problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience applying data science techniques in a professional environment.
  • Skilled in Python programming and proficient with querying and manipulating data using SQL.
  • Comfortable working within Microsoft Azure tools, especially Azure Notebooks and Azure DevOps or related platforms.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline — with a strong engineering mindset.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments such as bonds or equities is advantageous.
  • Naturally curious and pragmatic, you are keen on experimenting with early-stage solutions and iterating rapidly.
  • Effective communicator who can engage easily with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Be part of a forward-thinking legal organisation using data to transform how legal services are delivered and valued.
