The Role

As aData Scientistyou will be solving real time business problems using Mathematical modelling, ML/AI and Gen AI and unlock the potential of data science for pharmaceutical industry and develop AI/ML solutions as per business requirements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
  • Using machine learning deep leaning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers.
  • Carrying out the preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
  • Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
  • Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
  • Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms
  • Presenting results in a clear manner.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.

Collaborate with Business and IT teams.


Your Profile

Essential skills/ experience:

  • Must have experience in building, testing, and deploying recommendation engines: collaborative filtering, hybrid approaches combining item/product similarity via Knowledge Graph, or similar methods.
  • Must have experience in building AI/ML models: supervised (e.g., regression, classification), unsupervised (e.g., clustering, dimensionality reduction), reinforcement learning, deep learning, and NLP.
  • Must have statistical/mathematical modelling expertise.
  • Must have experience with ML Ops: deployment, automation, and streamlining of ML models.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and domain knowledge in user behavior.
  • Must have experience with Azure platform and tool stacks like Databricks, ADF, ADLS. Nice to have knowledge on Knowledge graph, Neo4j/property graph.
  • Must have Generative AI experience.
  • Must have experience in Data Engineering.


Desirable knowledge:

Understanding and knowledge in ML deployment tools like MLFlow, SageMaker and VertexAI.

  • Nice to have knowledge on Knowledge graph, Neo4j/property graph
  • Nice to have knowledge in Azure ML, AI Search, OpenAI, LangChain.
