Title: Data Science & Software Graduate Engineer

Salary range: £33,000 per annum plus £2,000 joining bonus

Location: Bristol, Burton, Leatherhead, Manchester, Gloucester

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

The Role

This is a Data Science and Software Graduate Engineer role within our Digital stream at Frazer-Nash. As a graduate you could be joining one of our Data Science teams, which cover the full data life cycle from data governance, through analytics, forecasting to decision making, or one of our Engineering Software teams, which cover the full software design life cycle from requirements and specification through design and implement to testing. Our teams deliver engineering solutions through system architecture, modelling, custom software and strategic advice across all our markets, including defence, energy, transport, government and others.

The role seeks enthusiastic, open and curious-minded people who enjoy problem solving. We aim to develop digital professionals who are committed to finding real-world solutions and delivering projects for our clients. Selected candidates will receive training, mentoring and coaching to support their development into well-rounded consultants and will be supported to achieve professional accreditations including chartership. We value creativity, organization, innovation, and collaboration, and provide opportunities to work on projects that make a difference.

We’re Looking For People Who Can Become
  • A creator: You will help solve current customer problems and consider reuse of your work to address bigger problems in the future.
  • A collaborator: You will work in multi-disciplinary teams with Frazer-Nash colleagues and customers.
  • An adapter: Ability to adapt to different and complex situations and manage your time to meet competing demands.
  • A multi-tasker: You will work on multiple projects concurrently and take responsibility for delivery of different elements. Responsibilities grow year-on-year as you develop capability.
  • A problem solver: You will explore different options to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

You will need to have obtained a 2:1 Degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or Physical Sciences bias.

Due to the nature of Frazer-Nash Consultancy’s work, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
