The Opportunity

Join EY's Transformation team within the Tax Technology and Transformation Consulting as a Data Science Manager. Lead a team of data scientists and AI engineers to develop machine learning and generative AI solutions that improve tax compliance and strategy.

Your hands-on experience will guide your team in exploring emerging technologies to revolutionize tax functions, ensuring alignment with client strategies and delivering measurable ROI. Drive innovation in tax technology!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in designing and implementing generative AI solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of production Python applications for machine learning and AI.
  • Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Develop natural language processing (NLP) models to automate processes and enhance user experience.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD practices.
  • Manage version control with Git and promote best practices in code collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AI/ML development, delivering end-to-end projects, and leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, data science, and machine learning principles.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping on large datasets.
  • Building autonomous workflows using frameworks like Langchain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, and LangGraph.
  • Developing and optimizing generative AI models, including prompt engineering and LLMs.
  • Proficiency in Python, Docker, and version control with Git.
  • Knowledge of Databricks.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings with a focus on AI fairness and transparency.

Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Azure.
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
