Team Introduction
Advanced Analytics and Future Capabilities within Supply Chain Insights to Impact is focused on using new and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Graph Networks and Decision Intelligence to deliver next level supply chain performance. The team consists of broad experts across the supply chain and partners with the supply and demand business units to deliver transformative change using advanced technologies.

Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape data science initiatives at GSK. You will manage development squads to deliver impactful insights and solutions that drive business decisions. Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and unlock value. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about data, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to make a difference.

Responsibilities
- As a business lead manage development squads and business SMEs to design and implement advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence to drive business value through Decision Intelligence solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where Advanced Analytics and Decision Intelligence can drive value.
- Translate and complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
- Plan and deliver transformative change in the business units
- Drive continuous improvement in data science processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications/Skills

Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM) or relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing development teams and delivering impactful projects.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Problem solving & consulting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams at all levels and time zones.

Preferred:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry across multiple functions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of supply chain analytics or Decision Intelligence tools.
- Possess analytic curiosity to seek out and develop potential solutions and a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Work Location
This role is based in the United Kingdom and follows a hybrid working model. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely while also collaborating in-office as needed.
