Role Overview

As a Data Science Lead, you’ll lead on delivering technical solutions for Roke’s National Security Customers, focusing on Data Services and defining novel technical approaches. Your teams will include a mix of technical abilities including data engineering, machine learning, cloud, DevOps, and software engineering skills.

Roke is a leading technology & engineering company serving clients in National Security, Defence, and Industry. We collaborate with our customers to solve complex challenges by integrating physical and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, contributing to consulting, presales, and business development strategies.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical proposals and bids.

Key Requirements

Ideally, candidates will have experience in some of the following areas:

  • Designing and building scalable data platforms
  • Applying analytical techniques to extract insights from diverse data sources
  • Visualising complex data
  • Machine learning
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++)
  • DevOps practices for deployment and testing
  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and leadership roles
