Company Description

Statz is a sports data and analytics platform, that helps users make better decisions for sports betting and fantasy sports. We are building a set of tools and features that help users visualise data sets in a simple, easy to digest manner.


We are a small start up - 5 man team - who are moving fast and passionate about building cool stuff for our users-base which is growing week-by-week.


Role Description


We are looking for a graduate with a Data Science (or similar) degree with skills in predictive analytics, projections and visualisations. You will work on a variety of projects using our Sports Data Feeds and Odds Feeds and on projects such as projecting outcomes for sports fixtures and players.


An interest in sport, sports betting or fantasy football would be a significant advantage.


This is a 2 month unpaid internship at Statz, with the chance of a full-time role at the end of this period.


Naturally, as an unpaid role, this is perfect for a candidate who wants to get valuable work experience on their CV and leverage their skills to support the facilitation of data-driven business decisions. 


Relevant Qualifications and Skills


  • Degree in Data Science or equivalent
  • Machine Learning
  • Predictive Analytics and Statistical Modeling
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Interest in sports, betting, fantasy football
