Role: Senior Data Scientist Location: Manchester, UK Salary: £45K - £65K I am currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a dynamic team within a forward-thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, leveraging large datasets, and driving business insights through advanced analytics. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of data science models and algorithms to address key business challenges. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise data-driven solutions. Utilise machine learning techniques to build predictive models and optimise decision-making processes. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, from data extraction and cleaning to model deployment and monitoring. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. What we need from you: A strong academic background with a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in data science, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar. Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
