This is an exciting opportunity to join our Elevate team, focused onAdvanced Analytics as a Data Science intern, providing a unique entry into Consulting.Predominantly working on projects involving members of our UK team, you will beleveraging data to generate insights for our private equity and corporateclients. Collaborating with teams across Simon-Kucher, you will have the chanceto work on projects spanning market reviews, revenue growth, pricing, marketingefficiency, and digital strategy.

Whatyou bring:

As aData Scientist at Simon-Kucher, you will be an integral part of the projectteams working to drive top-line growth for our clients. You will be responsiblefor the core components of the model development process, from data wrangling /pre-processing to Machine Learning model development, testing, andimplementation. Throughout this process, you will also gather and communicatemeaningful data insights to your project team. We are looking for internshipcandidates who are interested in learning more about a career in commercialstrategy consulting. We have early career consulting positions available fortop performing interns upon completion of the internship. You must be graduated and available to start work to be eligible to apply.

Toapply you will have some of the following skills:

  • Degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, statistics, operational research, data science, or equivalent experience (we expect a 2:1 or higher).
  • Strong programming skills in a Data Science oriented language such as Python or R.
  • Strong data literacy skills with knowledge of data manipulation using SQL.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning, statistical modelling, or LLM models/NLP techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights.
  • High percentile numerical, deductive and inductive reasoning skills.
  • A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment.
  • A keen interest in the intersection of Data Science and commercial strategy and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
What weoffer:

Internships within the team usually last around 12 weeks andare designed to expose individuals to working on client projects. Interns canexpect responsibility from the outset as a valued member of the project team.Throughout your time at Simon-Kucher, you will contribute to analysis andresults and can benefit from working alongside experienced Consultants,Directors and Partners.
