We are looking for a Data Architect to play a critical role in the successful design of data solutions and projects and their architectural governance. The Data Architect will be capable of proposing, championing, synthesising, developing, refining and leading development of defined enterprise-level and tactical data

Architectural artefacts, sometimes from first concepts or initially based purely upon technical vision or conjecture alone. They must be able clearly to specify bounded, scoped deliverables and to define the project’s down-to-earth work, taking such concepts through to concrete reality, leading such efforts themselves within the different enterprise domains and according to a self-developed enterprise conceptual/physical model.

You will be responsible for:

  • Application of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques with data models including necessary analysis and dashboard creation
  • A/B testing and data analysis using statistical methods to generate insights and optimise existing and future business processes
  • Design and implementation of ML algorithm as well as their evaluation and presentation of results
  • Design and provision of reporting and dashboards to provide oversight of model quality and performance
  • Integration on dashboard of advanced analytics outputs
  • Manage the definition, maintenance and resolution of accuracy drift and model performance from a computational resource perspective
  • Translation of Business requirements to model needs
  • Establish good governance of code and model maintenance

Requirements

  • Knowledge of current analysis techniques, tools and methods appropriate to data modelling across Relational and transactional databases, including
  • Deep understanding of entities, sub-entities, intersection entities
  • Relationships, cardinality, intersection resolution, normalisation (1NF – 3NF) and de-normalisation
  • Attributes and attribute derivation
  • Drafting and representation approaches
  • Logical to physical model conversion
  • SQL data definition language derivation and definition
  • Knowledge of project management and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge and experience in the implementation of graph databases
  • Knowledge and experience with search services
