Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to help us leverage data for strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for extracting, interpreting, and visualising data to provide insights that drive business performance. Your work will influence key operational and commercial strategies, supporting teams across the company to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write complex reports using SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets, delivering insights that support key business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring they provide up-to-date, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) to understand business requirements and deliver relevant, actionable data insights.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance on datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses using SQL/Python and present findings to senior management in a clear, concise format.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and report generation.
  • Expertise in Power BI for designing and maintaining dashboards and reports, with a strong ability to ensure data visualisations remain accurate and relevant.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on data projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear reports and presentations for non-technical users.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on high-quality deliverables.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, or AI-driven insights.

Salary:£40,000. On-Site, DH1 1TF.
