Are you ready for what’s next, now? We’re looking for a Data Analyst in our Enderby office in. The position is 4 days per week and office based. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the Role

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will analyse logistics data to improve our supply chain operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. This role involves working closely with various departments to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, process, and analyse logistics data from various sources (e.g., transportation, warehousing, inventory systems). Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data analytics tools. Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, including delivery times, costs, and efficiency metrics. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimise logistics processes. Forecasting and Modelling: Develop predictive models to forecast future logistics needs and challenges. Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to enhance data analysis. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support. Assist in the implementation of new logistics technologies and systems. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in data management. Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics data and operations.

About you

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry. Proven experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., QlikSense, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
