About The Role

As a Data Analyst you can make a powerful contribution, expanding our analytical capacity to transform and optimise our pricing strategies and residual value risk management whilst we navigate through a fast-moving and quickly evolving marketplace.

Reporting into the Analytics Lead, you will use a wide range of technologies and data science techniques to create valuable insights which will improve our decision-making and processes that will serve our customers and ensure the scheme’s sustainability.

The company has invested significantly in its data strategy, and for the right person this is an exciting opportunity to help grow and establish a new Analytics function. Alongside this, we have reached the end of a large-scale project upgrading our systems and analytical tools - you will play a pivotal role in leveraging these systems to create insight and data-driven decisions, providing a platform for your personal growth and career development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Translating business problems into requirements, projects, and solutions Leveraging advanced analytics to optimise business processes and decision making Executing the delivery of insights via reports and data visualisation Proactively providing data-driven recommendations to the business for key decisions

Business partnering and clearly articulating findings in a compelling way to key stakeholders About You

You should have:

An analytical mindset, you enjoy figuring out how and why things work Keen critical thinking skills and creativity look at problems from a unique perspective A strong interest in data and analytics with a passion for learning and self-development Commercial awareness and a keen interest in how the business operates

Core requirements:

Numerate degree which demonstrates strong mathematical and modelling/statistical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Intermediate SQL and Python skills, with Advanced Excel skills Experience of model building, data visualisation, and/or process automation Desirable: experience using Oracle tools (OBIEE/OAS), Tableau and/or Snowflake
