My client, a prestigious hedge fund are seeking an elite C# Quantitative Developer to join their established Core Quant team.


You will be joining a highly proficient team in the firm, working closely with PMs, Quant Analysts and Software Engineers in an agile, test-driven environment to support their technology infrastructure surrounding their core analytics library.


Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of technical products and projects surrounding day-to-day quantitative issues.
  • Continuous exposure and daily interaction with the Quants and Software Developers to identify technical challenges.
  • Supporting the integration of various quantitative tasks across the business, such as helping architect valuation, risk and pricing systems.
  • Maintaining close contact with a wide variety of teams, including the architecture group to deliver scalable, high performance streaming compute operations
  • Taking a hands-on approach, embracing the opportunity to be creative when challenging current systems and processes.


A successful candidate will ideally come from the sell-side and have an in-depth and excellent understanding of C#/.Net (other object-oriented languages such as C++/ Python are desirable). They will also have experience working with SQL databases.


Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
  • 2 - 8 years of experience in software development within a hedge fund, investment bank or other financial institution
  • Strong programming skills in C# and experience with SQL and database management systems
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and experience in statistical analysis, data modeling or machine learning desirable
  • High levels of motivation and continually seeking to improve the performance of self and supportive of others to perform
