Our client is a fast-growing Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI Consultancy supporting leading private equity firms and high-growth businesses in the UK and Europe. Their work includes strategic data science, AI product development, and long-term technology partnerships. They aim to evolve into the UK's first data-native investment firm, raising their own fund and co-investing with private equity partners using advanced analytics and AI to drive returns.

Projects range from bespoke consulting and modelling to scalable AI solutions in marketing, operations, and investment analytics.

The Role

Seeking a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in econometrics and advanced attribution modelling to lead a key client engagement with a prominent education business. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), working with senior stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes, designing experiments, implementing testing frameworks, and refining models.

The candidate will also contribute to developing the attribution offering, support business development, and help grow data science capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone with technical depth, commercial acumen, and motivation to shape a critical business function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of attribution models (MMM) for a global education client, providing actionable insights.
  • Design and analyse experiments (geo-testing, holdouts) to validate and improve models.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate analysis into strategic decisions.
  • Support expansion of attribution and marketing science capabilities.
  • Assist in business development, including proposals and client presentations.
