In this role, you will contribute to our range of young person facing digital services, includingGMACSandCurriculum for Life, helping to grow and share our helpful content and ultimately help Greater Manchester’s young people thrive. This will mean writing content as well as developing other content assets, like social media posts, short and long form videos, and any other types of content that young people ask for!

Your professional development will be a key focus of your role, and you’ll spend a proportion of your time undertaking a Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship. This will help you gain all the skills you need to become a content creation professional with a wide range of skills and experience.

As part of your Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship you have to complete ‘off the job’ learning, which usually equates to about 6 hours per week. This learning is done during your working hours. Off the job learning is learning that takes place away from your main workplace responsibilities, that counts towards your apprenticeship hours. GMCA will fully support you with this.
