Computational Single Cell Expert (Machine Learning)

I am working with a software company developing foundation models with a focus on Multi-omics and Single cell, with a broad range of targets and biological applications.

This position is for a Single-Cell expert, who has ideally trained foundation models, and has a in-depth understanding of ML tools and applications used to fine-tune these models.

This position is for an excellent communicator, who's worked in an agile, fast-paced environment, since your role will be understanding customer requirements and deploying the company's model to fit their specific needs, working ML engineers and commercial teams.

This can also be a senior role, there are two openings in this team, title given depending on experience and seniority of candidate.

Your profile

• PHD, MSC, in Bioinformatics or similar
• Several years of Python programming, with an in-depth understanding of ML/AI applications used for single cell (foundation models)
• Excellent communicator with experience in translating needs to internal/external stakeholders
• Deep single cell expertise evidenced by publication record

This position is not specifically targeted at developers, but individuals who can train and fine-tune these models for biological applications.

Client location will be discussed on screening call- this position is hybrid in London/EU, can be remote for exceptional candidates.

Remote is used on ad for client confidentiality and to capture talent.
