Job Description


As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing brand initiatives that drive sales and profit growth for a select portfolio of key products. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced FMCG environment, you will collaborate closely with the brand owner to define and execute brand strategy, set key objectives, and drive brand activity through sales teams, operations, and trade customers.


This role reports into the Senior Commercial Manager and comes with significant autonomy, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business. You will be responsible for developing effective brand plans and ensuring their successful execution, leveraging both internal and external resources. This role takes full P&L responsibility and performance will be measured by your ability to achieve brand objectives and exceed sales and profit targets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement regular brand initiatives to drive sales and profit growth.
  • Collaborate with brand owners to create and agree on brand strategy, key objectives, and brand activities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure brand strategy is effectively communicated and executed across sales, operations, and trade customers.
  • Take full P&L responsibility, ensuring all brand activities are aligned with financial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Drive change and foster an entrepreneurial environment that supports growth and innovation.
  • Regularly report on brand performance, including sales and profit growth, to the Commercial Director and the Board.
