Role purpose

First of all - we're adaptable and interested in a mix of people to make the best team. We're currently looking for someone that has a lot of cloud architecture and infrastructure experience.

This is an early hire for a young, fast growing consultancy. We're looking for someone that is adaptable and driven that wants to grow with our business and have a strong say in how we shape the company.

Work with our expert data and analytics consultants to help customers deliver more value from their data.

This will be a key role in the technical and delivery teams and will guide the ongoing technology strategy and roadmap goals of our customers.

Day-to-day work will involve project delivery and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams. Technical work will include building, testing, deploying, maintaining, packaging, and explaining cloud solutions for our customers - built with modern tools across the open source and cloud platform landscape.

You'll have to get stuck into the end-to-end cloud infrastructure development workflow - everything from requirements gathering to deploying complex platform solutions.

You'll spend time capturing requirements and working with the other consultants to turn them into production-grade solutions - getting value into production is our prime concern for all our engagements.

You will act as a champion and subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure across the business, helping to cross-skill and upskill others.

You will also be heavily involved in the outreach and knowledge sharing that Hypercube does. We strongly believe that giving back to the community is an important part of our purpose and the best way to learn. We will help you grow your brand through speaking, blogging, or other outreach methods should you wish.

Finally, you’ll be in the driving seat to help shape and win new projects, whether that be through presales demos, meeting with prospective customers, or shaping longer-term relationships.

Accountabilities

  • Work with developers, managers, and business stakeholders to understand and define components of the technology landscape and how it relates to the business strategy
  • Contribution to Hypercube’s blog and other outreach efforts
  • Helping to grow both our internal knowledge and skillsets as we scale
  • Develop deep technical ability across several cloud services.
  • Follow best practices on cloud deployment and support.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to apprentice and associate cloud engineers to help build cloud competencies within the team.
  • Ensure system performance, uptime, security, and scalability of solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud solutions infrastructure at the direction of senior and principal cloud engineers.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, find root cause, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Document all work completed to company standards and looking for continuous improvement to the processes.
  • Design small parts of a cloud platform and infrastructure solution and understand how they combine with others to form a complete system.
  • Provide technical advice and input to technical decisions which affect your team and the wider project.
  • Provide correct estimates for your work within your areas of technical ability.
  • Undertake all mandatory company training within the timescales provided

Technical skills

We understand that this list is extensive – please apply if you fit some or only part of it we're flexible and are mostly looking for bright people who can adapt as the role grows. How to Write an AI CV that Beats ATS (UK examples)

Writing an AI CV for the UK market is about clarity, credibility, and alignment. Recruiters spend seconds scanning the top third of your CV, while Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) check for relevant skills & recent impact. Your goal is to make both happy without gimmicks: plain structure, sharp evidence, and links that prove you can ship to production. This guide shows you exactly how to do that. You’ll get a clean CV anatomy, a phrase bank for measurable bullets, GitHub & portfolio tips, and three copy-ready UK examples (junior, mid, research). Paste the structure, replace the details, and tailor to each job ad.

AI Recruitment Trends 2025 (UK): What Job Seekers Must Know About Today’s Hiring Process

This guide explains what’s changed, what to expect in interviews, and how to prepare—especially for LLM application, MLOps/platform, data science, AI product & safety roles. Why AI Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

Artificial intelligence is no longer a single-discipline pursuit. In the UK, employers increasingly want talent that can code and communicate, model and manage risk, experiment and empathise. That shift is reshaping job descriptions, training pathways & career progression. AI is touching regulated sectors, sensitive user journeys & public services — so the work now sits at the crossroads of computer science, law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design. This isn’t a buzzword-driven change. It’s happening because real systems are deployed in the wild where people have rights, needs, habits & constraints. As models move from lab demos to products that diagnose, advise, detect fraud, personalise education or generate media, teams must align performance with accountability, safety & usability. The UK’s maturing AI ecosystem — from startups to FTSE 100s, consultancies, the public sector & universities — is responding by hiring multidisciplinary teams who can anticipate social impact as confidently as they ship features. Below, we unpack the forces behind this change, spotlight five disciplines now fused with AI roles, show what it means for UK job-seekers & employers, and map practical steps to future-proof your CV.
