The mission of the Dataiku Cloud team is to offer the best Dataiku DSS experience, as a service / as a fully managed platform. The Dataiku Cloud platform consists of a cloud infrastructure and a launchpad, the component where Dataiku Cloud users can manage their DSS instance(s), invite users to contribute, set up some data sources and manage the Dataiku subscription. The Dataiku Cloud team is an integrated team with Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, and Product and Operations managers. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager with previous experience in SaaS platforms to lead the team’s Software Engineers . This role is an opportunity to lead a talented team who is building the company’s new flagship, with a strong and direct impact on the final outcome. Some expected outcomes for this role: The role consists in leading the design and implementation of a SaaS portal associated with Dataiku’s managed service offering. Here are some examples of what you might do: manage, directly or indirectly, a team of 10-12 Software Engineers, with the help of two Engineering managers who will be your direct reports coach the Engineering leads and some senior members of the team to help them grow their technical and management skills set the technical vision for our SaaS portal, including integration with the rest of Dataiku’s product, and contribute to the team’s architecture decisions Contribute to crafting Dataiku Cloud’s roadmap, along with the rest of Dataiku Cloud’s management team and own the engineering part of this roadmap drive our compliance and security strategy, in close collaboration with Dataiku Cloud VP and our SRE Director and in coordination with IT practices, legal commercial requirements and financial objectives collaborate with our SRE Director to align on shared roadmap items ensure a smooth and frictionless implementation Actively contribute to your team's code and be prepared to assist by writing code or helping troubleshoot issues What you need to be successful Experience leading a team of Software Engineers You have experience building and scaling robust SaaS applications, having led or significantly contributed to multiple successful projects You have solid experience in cloud infrastructure, kubernetes and python You are customer-oriented — you want to understand how the product is used and solve actual customer problems. You are humble and kind What will make you stand out Experience on an high availability SaaS Knowledge in DataScience, AI and Machine Learning Advanced knowledge in Vue.JS (Or React/ Angular) What does the hiring process look like?
