An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist in the Adult Gender a service at Sandyford has arisen. The post holder will provide 0.5 whole-time equivalent input to the Gender Service. The post holder may be required to provide clinical psychology input across the service area offering leadership and service development to this continual developing service. The Sandyford Gender Service provides assessments and treatments for Adults questioning their gender and who require assessment and support. Gender is a multi-disciplinary, area service tasked with assessing, offering interventions and assisting service users in finding the best solutions to their current presentations. The Sandyford Gender Clinic is the largest service of its kind in Scotland, receiving referrals from across the West of Scotland. Gender Identity Services have recently been incorporated within a National Managed Clinical Network hosted by Greater Glasgow and Clyde which provides opportunities for networking and involvement in service developments nationally
