Class 2 DriverLocation: Irlam, M44 6BAShifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM start until finishPay Rate: £13.11 per hourAbout the Role:A well-established flooring distribution company is seeking Class 2 (CAT C) Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join their team in Irlam.This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy manual handling, including lifting, unloading carpets and flooring products, and handballing pallet goods.Drivers will be responsible for delivering flooring products to retail stores, high street locations, and customer lock-ups (key access provided). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career stability and progression.Key Responsibilities:Driving long or short distancesMulti-drop between 15 to 25 drops per dayMaintain Good Customer service + direct client communication -Lifting and carrying goods , loading and unloading, a lot of heavy liftingMaking sure loads are safely securedFollowing traffic reports and adapting routes if necessaryCompleting delivery paperwork or Electronic AppComply with Driver Hour Tacho and road RegulationsDrive in an efficient and economical mannerCarrying out daily vehicle checks (start + end of shift)Report and correctly any accident or incidentIf necessary, spending night away from home during long haul deliveries.Complete/ keep up to date with FORS eLearning Modules.Requirements:A valid Class 2 (C) License and Driver CPC card.A valid Digital Tachograph card.Ability to lift and carry goods heavy goodsUp-to-date knowledge of FORS and commitment to completing eLearning modules.Experience of working within an Transport (warehouse and distribution) environment.Working knowledge of distribution environment and driver's hour regulations.If you're ready to join a growing company that values your experience and hard work, apply now and become part of our team!TPBN1_UKTJ
