We’re looking for a Claims Analyst to join our team! You'll provide claims performance understanding through robust analytics and constantly bring statistical depth. As such, you’ll need first class analytical skills such as SQL and SAS. If you're a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders, this may be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting into the Claims Analytics Business Partner, you’ll be working with the wider claims leadership team to understand key drivers and how they link to operational and indemnity performance. You’ll need to have the ability to translate these complex findings to key stakeholders in areas such as Corporate Actuarial, Finance, Claims Operational Management, and Pricing and Underwriting. You will:

Support and deputise for the Claims Analytics Business Partner ensuring that the Claims Exec and Senior Leadership team have sufficient, accurate and appropriate management information, business intelligence and insights on which to evaluate its claims performance and base key business decisions. Contribute to forums for discussion, interrogation and challenge of claims performance and benefit delivery with Claims Exec & Senior Leadership Teams Analyse MI data to inform the relevant stakeholders across Claims of performance, interpreting and presenting findings Work with Claims Operational Management in order to design and implement fit-for-purpose reporting containing relevant, accurate, timely and commercially-focussed lead and lag key performance Indicators. Continuously seek to improve the quality of MI provided to the business, working with the business to educate and shape the MI request Adopt a creative approach to resolving complex problems in mining and manipulation of data, identify alternative non-standard mechanisms and approaches to achieve the desired output

What you'll need:

Experience with data analysis of large datasets Experience with SQL and SAS Previous experience working in Financial Services analysis role (Insurance desirable)

This role can be based out of our London or Leeds offices. Our hybrid model way of working offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office-working, offering flexibility for everyone. When you'll be in the office depends on your role, but most colleagues are in 2 days a week, and we'll consider the flexible working options that work best for you.
