ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who has past experience in VMware. The role will involve the assessment of existing and potential customers, defining product needs, and sales execution.

The ideal candidate will be required to talk around solutions. This is an emerging part of the VMware business, therefore a technical minded Business Development Manager would be ideal to be to discuss the products/ technologies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively drive sales and develop profitable channel partners for VMware.
  • Support Arrow ECS Sales Teams in named partner accounts by providing business development, enablement, training, and vendor specialization (including product knowledge, programs, and roadmap information).
  • Manage designated Resellers, developing business for VMware and Arrow to meet vendor targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with VMware sales teams to ensure Arrow are involved in opportunities.
  • Expand business relationships within existing partners to deepen engagement.
  • Onboard new partners that fit the profile for Arrow and VMware.
  • Maintain a proactive approach in collaboration with VMware.



Who We are looking for:

  • Managed budgets and performance across assigned business development areas.
  • Drove growth through development of both new and existing customer relationships.
  • Experienced in virtualization and networking, with strong VMware knowledge (NSX, vSAN, VeloCloud).
  • Over 2 years of sales experience with proven success in forecasting, territory management, and achieving targets.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Recognized for business acumen, problem-solving, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and proactive with a quick ability to learn new technologies and product benefits.
