Business Development Manager – Enterprise Server Solutions

Salary: £40,000 basic (+ £40,000 OTE) + Company Car

We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to identify new business opportunities and build relationships within the enterprise server market across the UK and Europe. This role is perfect for a proactive sales professional who excels at finding new clients, strengthening existing partnerships, and promoting high-value server solutions.

You will work closely with account managers, solutions architects, and leading technology vendors to drive business growth. This position keeps you at the forefront of server technology, allowing you to engage with top brands and senior stakeholders across various industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working alongside a team of account managers, solutions architects, and technology suppliers to lead commercial success.

  • Finding and securing new accounts across different industry sectors.

  • Growing business within existing key accounts to support overall expansion.

  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans to expand market presence.

  • Leading meetings and presentations to promote enterprise server solutions, with opportunities to travel across the UK and Europe.

  • Managing pipelines and forecasts to track business performance.

  • Contributing to team goals and revenue targets.

  • Providing training to internal and partner sales teams, establishing yourself as a trusted industry expert.

  • Applying strong commercial knowledge to maximize profitability in complex, multi-vendor solution proposals.

    About You
    We are looking for a commercially minded and dynamic professional who excels in sales and business development. You should be passionate about enterprise technology and skilled at building relationships to drive business growth.

    Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in selling enterprise server, storage, or networking technologies.

  • Strong presentation skills with experience leading meetings.

  • Strategic problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.

  • Knowledge of Cloud, High-Performance Computing (HPC), or Artificial Intelligence (AI) markets is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet business objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Proven success in an external sales role.
