Purpose of the Role This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the Insurance Domain Consulting team. It will be a delivery focused role with the expectation of contributing to the development of our Digital Claims Transformation proposition and the practice as a whole. Key Responsibilities: Act as Senior Business Analyst/Consultant on a Life & Pensions projects and wider Domain consulting engagements as required (90% of role), Support the development of thought leadership and go to market collateral as lead of our Claims Transformation (majority of remaining 10% of role), Support the development of the Insurance Domain Consulting team through various practice development activities. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience of working on large scale Life & Pensions projects (one major delivery role or multiple smaller roles), Demonstrable subject matter knowledge of the claims processes, issues, and digital journeys within the Life Insurance and Pensions sector, Broad knowledge of the UK / European Insurance market, Broad knowledge of the UK London Market Insurance, Core consulting skillset and / or significant industry experience in a strategic change capacity within the Life & Pensions domain, Experience in supporting business development activities for a consulting firm in the Insurance sector, Strong stakeholder (Head of Function / Functional SME and above) management skills, Exposure to digital and platform technologies in the life insurance and pensions sector / London Market Insurance sector, Awareness of market trends in Life & Pensions/London Market Insurance and specifically in transformation, including the impact / optionality presented by digital technology, Strong presentation skills, including verbal presentation and developing compelling PowerPoint presentations. Desirable Skills: Broader Insurance knowledge and experience (Life and Pensions, Speciality, Broker), Deep Platform Experience (Guidewire Claims / Policy Centre, DuckCreek), Knowledge of workflow applications (e.g. Appian, Chatbot, IDP Solutions), Proven background in defining detailed business requirements, Team building experience (recruitment), Data Analytics, AI and Machine Learning experience or exposure (particularly in the Insurance / claims space).
