Job Overview:

  • An innovative Generative AI (GenAI) team is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to support the development of advanced solutions designed to meet diverse client needs.
  • As a backend engineer, you will play a key role in building and integrating workflows for large language model (LLM) capabilities, enhancing the client adaptation process, and supporting data ingestion and evaluation frameworks.
  • This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI-driven product development in collaboration with a dynamic team of engineers, data scientists, and client delivery professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement LLM-based workflows and workers tailored to product use cases, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
  • Integrate solutions with a foundational orchestrator, ensuring adaptability for various client needs.
  • Work closely with data engineers to expand ingestion capabilities and establish a robust evaluation framework for LLMs.
  • Partner with client delivery teams to ensure smooth adaptation and customization of tools for client projects.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional problem-solving sessions to drive collaborative innovation and product improvements.


Qualifications:

Core Tech Stack:Proficiency in Python, ØMQ, and Next.js.

Professional Experience:3+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with a demonstrated ability to build reliable, scalable backend applications.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with asynchronous programming in Python.
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with Langchain and general knowledge of large language models (LLMs) is advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS or another major public cloud provider.


Problem Solving and Collaboration:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for finding creative solutions to data content and format challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work with international teams, demonstrating clear ownership and accountability.

Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for simplifying complex ideas for diverse clients and colleagues at all levels.


Education:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
