About the role

As a Systems Analyst you are responsible for meetings with clients and Management to understand data migration requirements and needs, so that you can outline and plan a complete project. This includes moving the data and converting the content if necessary and taking into account the risks and potential consequences. You will also have to audit existing data systems and deployments and identify errors or areas for improvement. This also includes testing the new system after the migration process as well as the resulting data to find errors and/or points of corruption. You will have to document everything from strategies used, to the exact migration processes put in place and to develop data migration best practices for all current and future projects. You will also have to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for all migrated data.

About you

The ideal candidate has a BS in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics with strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organise and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. You have a strong knowledge of experience with reporting packages (Business objects,...), databases (SQL, ...), programming (XML, Javascript or ETL frameworks). You can work and solve problems under pressure in complex situations and communicate clearly with team members. You also have excellent time management skills and are a goal-oriented person who has a strong understanding of data protection and data governance.
