To help us deliver our medical image analysissolutions to large clinical trials we are hiring an Associate ImageAnalysis on a temporary 6-month fixed-term contract at a full-timecapacity. Purpose of the Role: Image analysis involves usingdifferent techniques to derive readings from brain scans. TheAssociate Image Analyst (AIA) position is responsible for imageanalysis from clinical data received by IXICO in active clinicaltrials and research studies. Candidates do not need any previousimage analysis experience as all new Analysts will be trained byIXICO. A typical day for an AIA will involve working methodicallythrough batches of different brain analysis results, confirmingaccuracy of the science pipeline/output image. This job would suita motivated, methodical worker, with good spatial awareness andattention to detail. There may be some variation and/ordevelopment of these duties and responsibilities without changingthe general nature of the role: Performing image analysis, such aswhole brain delineation and LEAP endpoint QC, after suitabletraining has been completed. Meeting allocated endpoint QC targetsassigned by the Team Leader Image Analysis. Performing functionsassigned by the Team Leader Image Analysis and Project Managers inaccordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and workinstructions (WI). Supporting the Image Analysis team in reachingkey deliverables. Being the go-to analysts for allocated studies.The Associate Image Analyst may also be responsible for but notlimited to: Qualitative review of images (e.g., MRI, PET) andidentifying issues which may affect subsequent quantitativeanalysis or radiological review. Query management and resolution ina timely and professional manner. Providing feedback onimprovements in the image analysis processes. Assist in activitiesthrough all stages of site qualification. Be crossed trained forother areas in clinical operations (e.g., data administration).Maintaining accurate records of incoming data e.g., Data ManagementTrackers. Assist in preparing and updating study documents (e.g.,WIs, training slides, Subject Data Forms). Assist in reporting ofKey Priority Indicators (KPIs) e.g., Turn-around-times and analysisthroughput. Assist in training other AIAs, as required. Maintainopen and positive, collaborative channels of communication with allcolleagues in particular close teamwork and collaboration withother Analysts within the Image Analysis team. Qualifications andskills required for the role: Essential: Bachelor’s degree (imagingor life sciences) or equivalent scientific or analyticalexperience. Excellent time management. Ability to prioritisecompeting tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to followestablished procedures. Highly motivated and proactive.
